Bruce Pfund is technically correct in his assertion that “carbon-free” flight is far from being carbon-free (Letters, June 26), but he does a disservice to our goal of improving our carbon footprint.
Rome was not built in a day and nor will we leap overnight from a dominant carbon economy to one that is perfectly carbon-free. Let’s be pragmatic about progress and not get lost in detail. Every little helps after all.
