Former US secretary of state and ambassador to the UN Madeleine Albright has championed Democratic politicians her entire political life and it is no surprise to read her condemnation of President Donald Trump (Opinion, October 12). She sees the world through eyes that perceive no harm in perpetuating the international security architecture designed in 1945. Mr Trump was elected to disrupt that vision and he fulfilled his campaign promise. If he is re-elected, he will continue his quest to terminate America’s endless wars.
