Does anyone feel that censorship is getting out of hand?
- I notice Yahoo and Cnet don’t let you comment on articles anymore except for a few.
- I also noticed that many video sites (youtube, vimeo, etc) also removed comment features and several videos ( I understand this was to protect people and kids, which I agree with! no argument here!) However I can’t help but feel this was a ploy to delete videos that had information that someone didn’t want out. (ie. videos that didn’t violate guidelines but were removed)
- It’s getting harder to go around SMS verification.
- Social media sites now taking steps to banned people for life on platforms.
I’m curious if anyone else feels this way.
